About this job
Our company is hiring a seasonal courier driver in Greater Sudbury, ON for a temporary position of up to 12 weeks. You'll drive an assigned route picking up and dropping off packages, working Monday to Friday 11:30-18:00 and Saturday 08:30-16:00.
What you'll do
- Pick up and deliver packages on your assigned route
- Check shipments for proper labelling and conformance to FedEx standards
- Load your van and plan your route for efficient delivery
- Use computerized tracking and dispatch systems
- Answer customer questions about FedEx services
- Occasionally help load or unload aircraft or containers
Requirements
- Valid G license (or equivalent class 5 or 1/AZ)
- High school diploma or GED
- No driving experience required; customer service experience is a plus
- Clean driving record, generally no more than two infractions or accidents in the last 24 months
- Quebec-based applicants must be bilingual in French and English
Schedule
This is a seasonal position for up to 12 weeks, working weekdays 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
