About this job
Our company is hiring a seasonal courier driver in Barrie, ON for a temporary role lasting up to 12 weeks, depending on business needs. You'll pick up and deliver packages on an assigned route using a van, representing the company professionally.
Schedule
- Shift 1: Monday to Friday, starting at 10:00 am
- Shift 2: Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 10:00 am
- Must be available to work Saturdays
What you'll do
- Deliver and pick up packages safely and on time
- Load the van and plan your route for efficiency
- Inspect and sort packages, reporting stop counts and missorts
- Use computerized tracking and dispatch systems
- Answer customer questions about FedEx services
- Identify sales leads and inform the sales team
- May help load or unload aircraft or containers as needed
Requirements
- Full valid Class G license (G2 not accepted)
- High school diploma or GED
- No experience required; customer service experience is a plus
- Clean driving record
