Seasonal AZ/DZ Equipment Operator — $26.50–$28.50/hr

Webber, part of Ferrovial Construction, is looking for a seasonal equipment operator to maintain roadways, bridges, signage and related infrastructure in Etobicoke, ON. Pay runs $26.50 to $28.50 an hour depending on your experience and qualifications.

Pay

• Hourly rate of $26.50 to $28.50, set according to your background and skills

What you'll do

• Handle winter tasks like plowing, salting and sanding roads and bridges

• In the warmer months, fix up highway surfaces, signage, guardrails, fencing, lighting, potholes and striping, and clear litter and debris

• Set up and take down traffic control zones

• Move crew members and equipment between job sites

• Be on call for emergency response work, which can include overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays

Requirements

• High school diploma or the equivalent

• At least a year of relevant experience in construction, road maintenance or similar equipment-operating work under a DZ license

• Valid Ontario DZ license with a clean driving record; having an AZ license is a bonus

• Comfortable lifting as much as 50 lbs without help

• Strong spoken and written English for safety communication with your team

Working conditions
