Seasonal AZ/DZ Delivery Driver — Hourly Pay Plus Bonus

Our company (BTN) needs a seasonal driver to move plants and supplies between its farms, retailers and vendors in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area. This is a 6 to 8 week contract with demanding hours and hands-on rack handling, paid hourly plus a performance bonus.

Schedule

• Shifts run 8, 10 or 12 hours depending on the day

• Mornings, days, evenings and nights are all possible

• Work falls anywhere Monday through Sunday, including weekends and holidays

• Plan on roughly 6 days a week and up to 60 hours weekly

What you'll haul

• Finished plants and raw materials moving to and from BTN farms, retail customers and vendors

• Unloading is done mostly with a liftgate, handling metal rolling racks and occasional wood racks or pallets up to 750 pounds, with a pump truck available to help

• After unloading, you'll break down empty racks and pack the truck efficiently for the trip back

Requirements

• Valid AZ or DZ license

• Clean driver's abstract and current CVOR

• At least 1 year behind the wheel of a straight truck or tractor-trailer, with 1 year delivering freight in one

• Comfortable pushing, pulling and lifting racks up to 750 pounds using the provided equipment

• Able to stand, bend and stoop for extended periods throughout a shift

• Solid organizational and time-management skills, clear communication, and a safety-first mindset

• Flexible availability for long shifts, weekends and holidays

Pay

You're paid an hourly rate plus a performance bonus.

What the job involves day to day

You'll run assigned routes, keep the vehicle in safe working order with pre- and post-trip checks, load and unload goods, fill out delivery paperwork, and serve as the face of BTN for customers at each stop.
