Salt Truck Driver — Seasonal, $25–$35/hr

Clintar is hiring seasonal, on-call heavy equipment operators to run salt trucks, tractors, loaders and skid steers for commercial snow and ice removal in the Brampton area. Shifts are part-time and on-call, often overnight, and run from November through April, with pay of $25–$35 an hour.

Pay

• Hourly rate of $25 to $35

• Extra $5 per hour worked as a bonus plan

• Season-end bonus for completing full shifts

Schedule

• On-call, part-time work from November to April

• Expect overnight shifts, weekends and holidays

• Must respond quickly when snow or ice events happen

What you'll do

• Clear snow and ice from parking lots, roadways and other commercial sites using tractors, loaders, skid steers and salt trucks

• Keep sites clean and avoid damaging property while working

• Answer emergency calls during major snowfalls or severe weather

• Stay in contact with dispatch or supervisors about road conditions and job progress

• Work outside in cold and stormy conditions, including at night

• Log hours, equipment upkeep and materials used

• Follow all safety rules

Requirements

• At least 3 years of prior snow removal experience

• Available for flexible, often overnight hours including weekends and holidays

• A cell phone with data plan
