Salt & Brine Truck Driver — $25–$30/hr Plus Guaranteed Minimum

CSL Group needs a Salt & Brine Truck Driver / Monitor in Whitby, ON to help keep roads and lots safe during winter. You'll drive and monitor salt and brine equipment whenever snow is in the forecast, adjusting application as conditions change. The season starts November 1st, 2025.

Pay

• $25.00/hr to $30.00/hr, based on your experience and reliability

• When there's no snow, CSL Group guarantees $650 paid bi-weekly, as long as you stay available and ready to work

Schedule

• Work happens whenever snow is forecast, so hours are on-call and can run very late or very early

• Expect long shifts on the busiest days

• Open availability is required

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor salt and brine spreading equipment

• Follow set application rates, routes and instructions for brine

• Adjust equipment settings based on weather and site conditions as you go

• Work both independently and alongside your team

Requirements

• Valid G or D license with a clean driving record

• At least one year of experience driving small or medium trucks

• Salt spreading or brine application experience is a plus, though not required

• Able to understand and follow route and application directions

• Your own reliable transportation to the job site, since it isn't reachable by public transit

• A mobile phone you can be reached on

• Physically able to lift 50 lbs or more

• Comfortable working outdoors in cold, tough winter conditions for long hours
