Route Sales Driver — CDL-B Training Provided

Our company is looking for a Route Sales Driver in Las Cruces, NM to deliver and merchandise ice cream products to grocery, convenience and food service accounts. You'll work five days a week, typically early morning through afternoon, with Wednesdays and Sundays off, and you'll earn a base salary from $55,000 a year plus commission.

What you'll do

• Run your assigned route, taking orders, delivering product and keeping accounts stocked to company standards

• Use a handheld device to check inventory and shelf conditions and place orders to avoid running out

• Load and unload the truck, confirm quantities, and handle paperwork and signatures for each stop

• Stock shelves, rotate product using first-in-first-out, pull expired or damaged items, and build displays

• Grow sales on your route by introducing new items, running promotions, and finding new accounts

• Build relationships with store staff and handle any service issues, credits or returns

• Keep accurate daily records of invoices, mileage and route activity

• Inspect your vehicle before and after each trip and report any issues

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

• Clean driving record: no more than two preventable accidents or moving violations in the past three years

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• A CDL is preferred but not required — if you don't already have one, the company will train you to earn a Class B license with air brake endorsement within your first 30 days

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, and to walk, bend, climb and reach throughout your shift
