About this job
Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers for regional routes out of the Minneapolis, MN area. New drivers are welcome, since the company provides paid training, and you'll run set regional lanes with weekly home time on modern, well-maintained equipment.
What you'll do
- Drive company tractor-trailers on assigned regional routes for pickups and deliveries, following all federal, state and company rules
- Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues
- Keep accurate logs and paperwork
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch, customers and the operations team
Home time and schedule
You'll work a regional schedule with predictable lanes and home time every week. Exact schedules depend on your assignment and will be shared during hiring.
Pay and benefits
- Competitive weekly pay, with room to earn more depending on your route and performance
- Paid training for drivers new to the role
- Full benefits once you've been employed for 30 days
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A, valid for driving in the United States
- Willing to complete paid training and follow company safety policies
- Able to work a regional schedule with weekly home time
- Able to obtain and keep required medical certification and pass required pre-employment screenings
