Smart Logistics Group is looking for regional CDL-A drivers to run out of Fresno, California. New CDL graduates and seasoned drivers are both welcome, and you would drive newer tractors and be home every week.
Pay
- You earn between $0.55 and $0.85 per mile; entry-level drivers start at the low end and experienced drivers reach the top.
Home time and routes
- Regional lanes starting from Fresno, not over-the-road.
- You get home weekly.
What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer safely, following federal, California and company rules.
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip and report anything that needs repair.
- Keep your logs and paperwork accurate under HOS rules.
- Deliver freight on your assigned regional runs on time.
- Stay in touch with dispatch and follow their routing and safety directions.
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL.
- Legal authorization to operate commercial vehicles in the U.S.
- A professional attitude and a safety-first mindset.
- Comfort with regional runs and weekly home time.
