Regional CDL-A Truck Driver — Average $100,000/Year

Penske Logistics is looking for full-time CDL-A drivers to run regional multi-stop deliveries of automotive parts and supplies to retail stores out of San Antonio, TX. You'll be away from home based on your assignment, with travel up to 100 percent of the time.

Pay

• Average annual pay of $100,000

• Earning potential up to $110,000 depending on your route and assignment

• $100 overnight pay for each night away from your home domicile

What you'll haul

• Automotive parts and supplies, delivered to retail stores on multi-stop routes

• You'll unload freight yourself using manual and electric pallet jacks and hand carts

• Miles, stops and specific routes change based on network coverage needs

Schedule

• Dispatch time depends on your assignment; this location dispatches at 8:00 PM

• Work runs Sunday through Saturday morning as needed, mainly Monday-Friday

• Be ready to travel to different locations across the network and adjust to shifting route needs

Equipment

• Late-model trucks maintained by Penske, including automatic day cabs

• 48' and 53' dry van trailers and straight trucks

• Trucks built for driver comfort and safety, with inward and outward facing cameras

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, with a hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire

• Must live in the U.S. and hold a license in your state of residence

• Current or obtainable non-excepted interstate DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5 years

• No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year driving record

• English language proficiency, as required under federal DOT rules

• Must pass a background check (employment, education, criminal history) and a drug screening

• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally, and to safely get in and out of the cab and cargo area
