Smart Logistics Group is hiring CDL-A drivers for regional routes out of Birmingham, Alabama. New CDL-A graduates and experienced drivers are both encouraged to apply.
Pay
- $0.55 to $0.85 per mile, starting at the low end for entry-level drivers and reaching the top for experienced drivers
- Header lists $4,500 - $7,500 a month
Home time
- Home weekly, on regional runs rather than over-the-road

What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer safely, following federal, Alabama and company rules
- Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Keep logs and paperwork accurate under Hours of Service rules
- Deliver freight on assigned regional routes and meet customer schedules
- Stay in touch with dispatch and follow routing and safety instructions
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Legal authorization to drive commercial vehicles in the US
- A professional, safety-first attitude
- Willingness to run regional routes with weekly home time
