Smart Logistics Group is looking for CDL-A drivers in Illinois for regional routes, open to both new CDL-A grads and experienced drivers. You'll get consistent freight, newer trucks, and weekly home time.
Pay
- $0.55 per mile for entry-level drivers up to $0.85 per mile for experienced drivers
Home time
- Weekly, running regional lanes rather than long-haul
What you'll haul
- Regional freight using brand-new, modern tractors
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Legally authorized to drive commercial vehicles in the US
- Safety-focused, professional approach to the job
- Ready to run regional routes with weekly home time
Responsibilities
- Drive the tractor-trailer safely under federal, Illinois, and company rules
- Do pre- and post-trip inspections and flag any maintenance issues
- Keep accurate logs under Hours of Service rules
- Deliver loads on time along assigned regional routes
- Stay in contact with dispatch and follow routing and safety guidance
