Pickup & Delivery Driver — $23.75/hr, Kirkland Lake, ON

Our company is looking for a pickup and delivery driver in Kirkland Lake, ON to handle an assigned route, checking shipments for compliance and handling related customer service tasks. This is a full-time, interview-based position.

Pay

• $23.75/hr, full time

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver packages along your assigned route

• Verify shipments meet Federal Express Canada's service standards

• Handle customer service duties tied to your route

• Work varying schedules, including holidays, depending on business needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history

• Able to lift 70 lbs and move packages up to 150 lbs using the right equipment

• One year of customer-facing work experience is preferred

• Must pass the required pre-placement driver assessment

• Familiarity with our company operations and Canadian customs rules is a plus

• Strong communication and people skills

• Solid organizational and time-management abilities

• Strong customer service skills

• Comfortable multitasking under pressure

• Open to flexible scheduling, including different shifts and holidays

• Drivers must hold a valid license (such as Class 5, G, or 1/AZ) with no more than two violations or accidents in the last 24 months; candidates are also assessed on their driving record, interview, and driving evaluation results

• Employees in Quebec must be bilingual in French and English
