About this job
Our company in Kenora, ON is looking for a driver to handle pick-up and delivery on an assigned route, checking shipments against company service standards and handling related customer service tasks. This is an interview position.
Pay
- Starting at $24.50
What you'll do
- Pick up and deliver packages on your assigned route
- Confirm shipments meet our company's service standards
- Handle customer service duties tied to your route
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to lift 70 lbs and move packages up to 150 lbs using proper equipment
- One year of customer-facing work experience preferred
- Must pass the required pre-placement driver assessment
- Familiarity with our company operations and Canadian Customs rules is a plus
- Strong communication and people skills
- Solid time management and organizational abilities
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable multitasking and working under pressure
- Open to flexible shifts, including holidays, based on business needs
- Must hold a valid license (such as Class 5, G, or 1/AZ) with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months; candidates are assessed on their driving record, interview performance, and driving evaluation results
- Quebec-based employees must be bilingual in French and English
