Pick-Up and Delivery Driver — CDL Required

Our company Commercial Tire & Service Centers in Jacksonville, FL needs a pick-up and delivery driver to move tires and related products on time and professionally. You will run between our company service centers, customers and dealers.

What you'll do

• Transport new and retreaded commercial tires, casings and similar items between company locations, customer sites and our company dealers

• Help load and unload tires, casings, wheels and mounted wheel assemblies, following safety procedures

• Fill out the paperwork for each delivery

• Keep your DOT log and the maintenance records for your assigned vehicle up to date

• Build and keep good relationships with customers

• Take on other tasks management assigns

Physical demands

• Extended manual work, including heavy lifting of commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending and squatting

Requirements

• A valid license for the vehicle type, and you must be able to meet commercial driver qualification standards

• Minimum age of 21

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. with no sponsorship now or later

• Relocation help is not provided

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED

• Past delivery driving experience
