Petroleum Tanker Truck Driver — $1,800–$2,500/Week

This role hauls petroleum and other freight by tanker truck on local and regional routes around Atlanta, GA, using GPS to plan and adjust trips as needed.

Pay

• $1,800.00 - $2,500.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Petroleum and other cargo, handled under hazardous materials and dangerous-goods rules

• Local trips and route driving around the Atlanta area

Responsibilities

• Drive tanker and other assigned equipment, including automatic-transmission trucks

• Follow planned routes, adjusting for road and traffic conditions

• Load, unload, and secure petroleum using approved handling methods

• Check vehicles and cargo before, during, and after each trip, reporting any damage or hazards

• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat regulations

Requirements

• Experience driving commercial trucks; delivery driving experience is a plus

• Tanker, hazmat, or freight-handling experience helpful

• Comfortable with manual cargo handling and cargo-specific safety steps

• Familiarity with GPS and regional routes preferred

• Valid commercial driver credentials with any endorsements the vehicle or cargo requires
