About this job
Hartson-Kennedy makes commercial and residential countertops, and needs a part-time OTR driver to haul finished product to customers. This is a 2-day-per-week schedule, running a leased tractor that's 6 years old or newer.
What you'll haul
- Countertops, delivered to distribution centers, service centers and home delivery customers
- You'll load, unload and secure freight, checking it against the packing list and bill of lading
- Mix of OTR and city driving
Schedule
- Part-time, 2 days per week
Pay
- Competitive hourly rate
- Overtime after 40 hours in a week
- Paid weekly via direct deposit
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record and able to meet DOT physical and driving standards
- Comfortable lifting up to 125 lbs
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Reliable attendance and a strong focus on safety
- Able to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logs and delivery paperwork accurately, and communicate well with customers and staff
