About this job
A line painting company in the GTA needs a part-time DZ driver who can also help out on job sites. You'll tow a 14' enclosed trailer with a GMC 1500 pickup and pitch in with painting and setup once you arrive.
What you'll do
- Drive to and from job sites
- Hook up, back up and maneuver the enclosed trailer
- Help with painting and site setup once there
Pay
- Starts from $21.00 per hour, negotiable depending on your certifications
Schedule
- Part time, 10 to 40 hours per week
- Weekdays, Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed
- Daytime availability required
Equipment
- GMC 1500 pickup pulling a 14' enclosed trailer
Requirements
- Valid Ontario DZ license with a clean record
- Solid experience towing enclosed trailers or driving commercial vehicles, including confident hitching, backing and maneuvering
- Comfortable with physical, outdoor work and good with your hands
- Must live between Whitby and Bowmanville (Whitby, Oshawa, Bowmanville)
- Must be over 25 due to insurance rules
- Background in trades, line painting or other hands-on work is a plus
