Part-Time DZ Delivery Driver — $27.59/hr

Erb Group, a long-established refrigerated carrier based in New Hamburg, Ontario, is hiring a part-time, on-call DZ driver out of its Baden terminal to handle local pickups and deliveries of temperature-controlled freight.

Pay

• $27.59 per hour

Schedule

• Part time, on call, no fixed start or end time

• Shifts run within HOS limits, as part of a 24/7 operation

• Expect 1 to 20 stops per day

• No dedicated truck; slip seating applies

What you'll haul

• Temperature-controlled, refrigerated freight

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience on the required license class

• Must meet licensing requirements for the role

• Pass a pre-employment drug test and health survey

• Provide CVOR, driver's abstract, and license copy at interview

• Pass a reference check and criminal record check

• Able to bend, lift, and carry freight up to 80 lbs

• Wear required PPE (provided)

What you'll do

• Drive safely in all weather and road conditions

• Complete pre/post-trip inspections

• Load and unload freight

• Handle required paperwork and communicate with dispatch

• Operate the onboard electronic log and communication system
