Part-Time CDL-A Local Truck Driver — $25–$28/hr, Home Daily

Our company in Bensalem, PA needs a part-time CDL-A driver to move empty trailers and shipping containers to customers nearby. You'll work roughly 10-20 hours a week, stay within a two-hour radius, and be home every night.

• $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Empty container and storage trailers delivered to customers within a two-hour radius

Responsibilities

• Check trucks for mechanical or safety problems and handle routine maintenance

• Map out routes and keep deliveries on schedule

• Keep accurate logs of driving time, rest breaks, mileage, and save fuel and toll receipts

• Follow all truck driving laws and company procedures, including size, weight, and parking rules

• Back trucks into loading and unloading spots

• Confirm delivery details before and during drop-off

• Notify the company of any equipment issues, accidents, or rule violations

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A and prior experience driving trucks

• Comfortable using GPS, AVL systems, CB radios and similar equipment

• Solid understanding of truck driving laws and regulations

• Clean driving record with no recent violations

• Able to adjust quickly to traffic, weather, and other surprises on the road
