About this job
Our company is looking for a local Class B driver based in Bensalem, PA, running solo routes to PA, NJ and NY (no boroughs) Monday through Friday with no weekend work. You'll be home every day after dispatching between 4am and 6am.
Pay
- Weekly paycheck, averaging around $1450
- Mileage pay up to $0.40 per mile, with roughly 1000 miles expected weekly
- $30.00 per stop, with 30-40 stops typical in a week
- Paid training included
Home time
- Home daily, Monday through Friday, no weekends
What you'll haul
- Straight truck, 28 feet
- Steel freight requiring load securement only
- Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside support and fueling at 800+ locations nationwide
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Pass a drug screen, background check, MVR review, and DOT physical
- Pass a road test
- Hold a valid CDL with the right endorsements for this role
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10
- Able to follow instructions and apply relevant rules and procedures
