About this job
Join a small, family-owned carrier running OTR dry van freight in newer equipment. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible scheduling and no forced dispatch.
Pay
- $330 per day, which works out to about $2,000 per week for up to 3,000 miles
- Structured as a 1099 independent contractor position

- 2020/2021 Freightliner Cascadia sleepers, automatic transmission
- 53ft dry van trailers
Home time
- Flexible schedule with time off available
- No forced dispatch
What you'll haul
- Dry van freight
- Lanes cover the Northeast, South, and Midwest
- No West coast routes
Requirements
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience with a CDL
- No at-fault accidents or misdemeanor violations (DUI, DWI, reckless driving) on your MVR
- Able to safely operate the truck, handle loading/unloading and securing cargo, keep accurate logs, complete pre- and post-trip inspections, and communicate with dispatch about any issues
Full-time, on-the-road position based out of Scranton, PA.
