Package Delivery Driver — From $180.00/day

Our company, a FedEx contractor in Portland, OR 97217, is looking for a delivery driver to get packages to homes and businesses safely and on time. You'll drive a box truck or van, handle packages by hand, and deal directly with customers on their doorsteps.

What you'll do

• Drive box trucks or vans, following traffic laws and DOT standards

• Load and unload parcels by hand or with handling equipment, using safe lifting methods

• Use a mobile device to navigate your route and keep deliveries on schedule

• Talk with customers during drop-offs, answering questions and handling concerns professionally

• Confirm delivery info, collect signatures when needed, and log delivery status on your device

• Keep your vehicle clean and check it over for safety

• Follow hub or distribution center procedures when loading and unloading

Requirements

• Warehouse experience is a plus

• Experience delivering packages, ideally with a courier service or in a step van or box truck

• Comfortable with heavy lifting and safe weight-handling practices

• Solid understanding of traffic and DOT rules

• Friendly, professional customer service skills

• Able to use a navigation app and a mobile device for deliveries and communication

• One year of commercial delivery driving experience preferred

• English preferred

• Able to commute to Portland, OR 97217

• Day shift availability preferred
