About this job
Our company in Eugene, Oregon needs a reliable 1099 independent contractor to run a home-daily local delivery route. You'll work Monday through Saturday, starting at 6:00 AM, for roughly 25 to 50 hours a week, and you'll be back home every evening.
Pay
- $1,300.00 per week, paid weekly
Home time
- Home every evening, no overnight travel
What you'll haul
- Building materials and other products picked up from the South Eugene Home Depot
- Deliveries go to residential and commercial customers within about a 150 mile radius
- You'll drive a tandem axle day cab flatbed truck (32 to 36 feet) fitted with a Moffett all-terrain forklift
- Use the Moffett to unload materials and place them where the customer needs them, when the site allows it
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Prior experience running a forklift or Moffett
- A clean driving record that can be insured
- Able to pass a criminal background check and a DOT drug screen
- Professional, safety-focused, and customer-oriented
