About this job
Our company in Ottawa, ON is looking for an owner-operator with their own reefer box truck to deliver freight to restaurant locations. You'll run your own company under this contract and handle deliveries from pickup to drop-off.
Pay
- $300.00-$500.00 per day
What you'll haul
- Freight delivered to various restaurant locations, unloaded by hand using a dolly or similar equipment as needed
Requirements
- You must own a reefer cube truck between 16 ft and 20 ft
- You must operate under your own registered service company
- Valid CDL with a clean driving history
- Valid CVOR
- Solid background in commercial driving and handling heavy equipment, including safe forklift operation
- Comfortable with basic vehicle upkeep and repair know-how
- Able to work independently and coordinate schedules with dispatch, customers and other team members
- Must pass a background check and drug test
