Owner-Operator Cargo Van Expedited Driver — Keep 70% of Gross

Our company is looking for independent owner-operators with their own cargo van, sprinter van, or small box truck under 10,000 lbs to run expedited loads across the country. No CDL required, but you should be ready for stretches of 2-3 weeks away from home.

Pay

• Keep 70% of the revenue your loads bring in, with the chance to earn up to 5% more based on your output.

• Most drivers bring in $2,500 to $6,500 a week in gross freight revenue, which works out to about $1,750 to $4,550 weekly in your pocket after the split.

• You're paid every week.

Home time

• Plan on being out around 21 days before heading home for about 7, though this can vary.

What you'll haul

• Expedited freight, run in your own high-top cargo van, sprinter van (Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, Mercedes Sprinter, and similar), or a small box truck under 10,000 lbs.

Requirements

• You provide the vehicle, whether owned, rented, or leased. It needs to be no more than 12 years old, with cargo space of at least 100" long, 50" wide between the wheel wells, and 48" high.

• Drivers must be 23 to 70 years old.

• A minimum of 2 years driving or delivery experience is required.

• No history of problems on your driving record.

• You'll need to meet the standards for the company's liability insurance program (there's a fee involved) and carry a $1 Million Non-Trucking Liability policy.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay in touch with dispatch are a must.
