OTR Truck Driver — $1,500–$3,200/Week

Our company is looking for an experienced truck driver to haul freight over the road, running tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers. You will handle regional or long-distance lanes, including auto parts and other loads, with some hazmat freight included.

Pay

• $1,500.00 to $3,200.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers

• Automobile parts and other general freight

• Some hazardous materials shipments, handled under proper safety rules

What the job involves

• Running OTR routes using GPS to plan and adjust for on-time delivery

• Loading and unloading freight by hand, securing cargo properly, including hazmat loads

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections to catch mechanical or safety problems early

• Keeping accurate hours-of-service logs, delivery paperwork, and inspection records per FMCSA rules

• Staying in touch with dispatch about routes, schedules, and any safety issues on the road

Requirements

• Solid background driving commercial trucks over varied routes and terrain

• Comfortable with refrigerated trailer operation and general freight handling

• Able to use GPS tools to plan routes and adjust in real time

• Capable of loading and unloading freight manually; experience with loading equipment is a plus

• Knowledge of hazmat transport rules

• Able to drive manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers

• Strong compliance record with FMCSA, DOT, and hazmat regulations

• Clean driving history with a strong safety and service track record

This is an on-the-road position.
