About this job
Our company is hiring OTR and regional CDL-A drivers at every career stage: experienced drivers, in-cab instructors and recent CDL graduates. Pay is weekly, most freight is no-touch, and you get an assigned tractor.
Pay
- Experienced OTR drivers: $1,485-$1,920 per week ($77,000-$100,000 a year).
- Home weekly drivers: $1,320-$1,680 per week ($68,000-$87,000 a year).
- Qualified drivers with 6 months of experience get $1,200 guaranteed weekly for the first 8 weeks after orientation.
- In-cab instructors: $1,750-$2,000 per week, $500 for each student who succeeds, and a $3,500 sign-on bonus.
- Recent grads: $750 guaranteed per week while actively working, plus starting mileage pay (ask a recruiter for details).
- Referral bonus of $2,500, with no cap on referrals.
Home time
- OTR: out 2-3 weeks, running 2,700-3,000 solid miles.
- Home weekly: minimum 34-hour reset at home.
- Recent grads: home 2-3 days every 2-3 weeks.
- Options depend on your location.
Instructor roles
- Hiring near Amherst, WI; Auburn, ME; Sumter, SC; Des Moines, IA; and Kutztown, PA.
- You train new CDL-A drivers with under six months of experience, plus refresher and remedial training, sharing the truck with your trainee.
- Equipment is new 2026 Freightliner.
New grads
- 3 days of orientation, 5 days of classroom and terminal time, then up to 6 weeks of paid in-cab training (a 2-week fast track is possible based on evaluation).
- After training you get your own truck and go home.
- Tuition reimbursement is available.
Requirements
- Active Class A CDL and age 21 or older.
- No recent safety terminations.
- Experienced drivers: 6 months of driving within the last 12 months.
- Instructors: 3 years of verifiable, accident-free Class A experience in interstate commerce.
- Recent grads: finished CDL school within the last 90 days.
