Local Delivery Driver — Paid Training

Our company, an independent FedEx service provider, is hiring delivery drivers in Onalaska, WI. You will run package pickups and deliveries on an assigned route in a company-provided vehicle. This job is with our company, not directly with FedEx.

Pay

• $800 - $1,000 a week; the posting also cites target earnings of $3,700 - $4,500+ per month.

• Actual earnings depend on schedule, experience, route, attendance, safety, service and overall performance.

Schedule

• Full-time; the posting also lists part-time.

• You must be available on scheduled Saturdays and stay on until your route is finished.

What you'll do

• Drive a commercial delivery vehicle safely and cover your assigned service area.

• Load, scan and handle packages, and finish routes accurately and on time.

• Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip.

• Keep customers happy and tell management quickly about delays, vehicle problems or emergencies.

Requirements

• Age 23 or older with a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

• Able to pass a background check, drug screen and DOT physical, as required.

• Able to lift packages up to 150 lbs alone and use equipment for heavier ones.

• Comfortable with a smartphone, scanner and GPS apps.

• One year of commercial driving in the past three years is preferred; delivery experience is a plus but not required.
