Hazmat CDL-A Flex Driver — $40/hr + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Ruan is looking for Hazmat CDL-A flex drivers based in Milwaukee, WI. You will haul auto parts in dry van trailers for Ruan's dedicated customer, Advance Auto Parts. Questions?

Pay

• $40 per hour (straight time), paid weekly

• $25 per diem for each layover

• Average annual pay is $104,000, with the chance to reach up to $115,000 per year at 50-55 hours a week

• $5,000 sign-on bonus, with the first payment coming after 30 days

Schedule and home time

• You must be willing to travel and support an operation for up to 4 weeks at a stretch, followed by 1 week at home

• Work is a mix of multi-stop runs and occasional shuttle deliveries

• Routes can run through Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Missouri

Equipment and unloading

• You drive new, late-model automatic Freightliner sleepers

• You unload at every stop yourself, using a lift gate and an electric pallet jack

• A hazmat endorsement is required

Requirements

• Age 22 or older

• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the last three years

• No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)

• No more than one preventable, DOT-recordable accident in the past three years

• A profile in the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse at fmcsa.dot.gov, created before you are hired

• Enough English to talk with the public, read highway signs and signals, answer official questions, and fill out reports and records
