OTR Non-CDL Box Truck Driver — $1,000–$1,200/week

Forever Trucking & Logistics LLC in St. Louis, MO is hiring full-time over-the-road drivers for a 26ft non-CDL box truck. You will haul freight over long distances, deal with customers at delivery, and stay on top of safety and paperwork. The company also says it wants to help drivers grow into running their own trucking business.

Pay

• Base pay is $1,000 to $1,200 per week, with $1,000 a week as the stated minimum.

• Performance-based bonuses are available.

What you'll do

• Drive the 26ft box truck on long-distance runs and follow traffic and safety rules.

• Load and unload freight, using a liftgate and pallet jacks when needed.

• Plan your route and get deliveries there on time.

• Keep a record of mileage and fuel use.

• Inspect the truck before and after each trip.

• Lend a hand in the warehouse when needed, such as with inventory and organizing.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record; you must be able to show an MVR covering the last 30 days.

• A passed DOT physical and a current Medical Examiner's Certificate.

• Working knowledge of Hours of Service rules and ELD use.

• Good communication and reading skills, plus the ability to work on your own and manage your time on the road.

• Able to handle heavy lifting; experience with forklifts and pallet jacks is listed as a requirement.

• Box truck or delivery driving experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Earlier OTR time in a 26ft box truck or larger.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle upkeep.

• Experience with dispatch apps, GPS routing and load boards.
