Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $50,000–$80,000/yr

Our company in Hazelwood, MO is hiring a local Class A truck driver to deliver freight on assigned routes. You will drive on schedule, handle loading and unloading, and keep your delivery paperwork in order. Pay is listed at $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year.

What you'll do

• Drive company trucks and other commercial vehicles to get freight to its destinations safely and on time

• Load and unload cargo with proper equipment and secure it so it isn't damaged on the road

• Inspect your vehicle before and after each trip to catch maintenance or safety problems

• Keep logs, route records and delivery receipts up to date

• Stay in contact with dispatch about delivery progress, route changes and any problems

Requirements

• Class A CDL; the posting also states Class E or higher as required

• Current DOT medical card

• Previous truck driving or delivery experience that included managing routes

• Solid grasp of commercial driving rules and safety practices

• Able to lift heavy items and carry out vehicle inspections

• Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not required
