OTR Hotshot Truck Driver — 40-Foot Straight Deck

Drive a hotshot rig pulling a 40 foot straight deck on long-distance routes out of Dallas, TX, moving time-sensitive freight for our company You will plan routes, handle the cargo, and keep everything compliant with FMCSA and DOT rules.

What you'll do

• Run over-the-road routes to get freight delivered on time

• Help load and unload cargo by hand when needed, and secure it properly for transport

• Use GPS tools to plan efficient routes, dodge delays, and hit delivery windows

• Keep up with freight paperwork and make sure loads are strapped down correctly

• Check your truck and trailer before and after each trip, and stay on top of routine maintenance

• Stay in touch with dispatch about your schedule, route plans, and any issues on the road

• Log your hours, cargo info, and delivery records the way FMCSA requires

Requirements

• Solid background driving commercial trucks, ideally 40 foot deck equipment or similar heavy-duty rigs

• OTR delivery experience is a plus

• Comfortable with box trucks and hotshot rigs pulling 40 foot decks

• Familiarity with FMCSA rules

• Able to drive manual transmission and handle freight loading/unloading

• Confident using GPS while following DOT safety requirements

• Good grasp of cargo handling and load securing
