OTR Hotshot Driver — $1,000–$2,000/Week

Our company in Houston, TX needs an OTR hotshot driver to pull a 40ft trailer behind a company F-250. You'll be out on the road for at least 3 weeks at a stretch, running loads under individual rate confirmations.

Pay

• $1,000.00 to $2,000.00 per week

• Paid every Friday

• You'll get a rate confirmation for each load you haul

What you'll haul

• Freight secured on a 40ft trailer towed by a company-provided F-250

• You're responsible for strapping, tarping, chaining and securing cargo properly before each run

Schedule

• Full-time, over-the-road work

• Expect trips of 3 weeks or more away from home

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required

• Must pass a clean background check

• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR

• At least 2 years of OTR experience hauling 40ft trailers

• Solid grasp of Hours of Service rules and comfortable running an ELD

• Skilled at strapping, tarping and chaining loads

• Prior OTR hotshot experience with a 40ft trailer is required

On the job

• Drive the company F-250 and trailer safely to each delivery point

• Load and unload cargo, making sure everything is secured

• Keep in touch with dispatch, customers and brokers as needed

• Stay on top of traffic laws and keep accurate ELD logs

• Check the truck before trips and report any mechanical issues
