About this job
Our company is looking for an OTR driver to run reefer trailers on a no-touch freight setup. You'll be out on the road for multiple days at a time, hauling freight safely and keeping your paperwork in order.
Pay
- You earn 27% of what the tractor brings in per rate confirmation.
- The company works with you to help get your pay to $1,500.00 or more; more work means more pay.
- Weekly pay typically runs $1,300.00 to $1,500.00.
What you'll haul
- Reefer trailer freight, no-touch, so you won't be loading or unloading goods yourself.
Day-to-day duties
- Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your rig.
- Follow your assigned routes and keep deliveries on schedule.
- Turn in BOLs and trailer inspection paperwork on time.
- Keep dispatch updated on your delivery status.
- Wear a safety vest at every drop.
- Take good care of your tractor.
- Follow all local, state and federal trucking regulations.
Requirements
- Valid CDL with the right endorsements for the equipment you'll run.
- Solid track record driving semis and handling route and delivery work.
- Able to meet insurance requirements for operating a semi.
- Comfortable being out on the road for several days in a row.
- Good attention to detail and time management.
- Manual transmission experience is a plus.
- A strong focus on safe driving.
