Our company in Florida needs an experienced over-the-road CDL-A driver for its supply chain logistics department. Pay starts at $0.80 per mile, with a weekly range of $2,400 to $2,800 listed.

What you'll do
- Move finished goods and raw materials between manufacturing plants, retail locations and distribution centers
- Check your truck for mechanical and safety problems and handle routine upkeep
- Plan your routes and hit delivery times
- Keep records of driving and rest time and miles, and hold on to fuel and toll receipts
- Enter macros in the automated system at each step of loading and unloading
- Stay within rules on size, weight, routes, parking and breaks, and follow company policy
- Position the truck for loading and unloading and confirm delivery instructions
- Report any defects, accidents or violations
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- At least 2 years of OTR driving experience
- Comfortable with GPS, AVL units, CB and similar electronics
- Willing to drive long hours and travel often
- Good grasp of trucking regulations and able to adapt to traffic, weather and surprises
