About this job
Our company is looking for an OTR CDL-A driver to haul freight across long-distance routes, with assignments that can include refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or vehicle transport.
Pay
- $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Freight varies by assignment: refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transport
- Oversized loads may be included
What you'll do
- Operate a tractor-trailer on over-the-road routes in line with DOT and FMCSA rules
- Plan and follow routes using GPS, manage delivery timing, and report any issues
- Load, unload, secure, and inspect cargo, including manual handling when needed
- Follow hazardous materials rules when hauling hazmat or other dangerous goods
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with the ability to drive a manual-transmission tractor-trailer
- Two years of clean driving record required
- Prior commercial or delivery driving experience; delivery experience is a plus
- Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA rules, safe driving, and freight handling procedures
