OTR CDL-A Truck Driver — $0.65 per Mile

Our company in Kansas City, MO is looking for a dependable OTR CDL-A driver to haul freight on regional and national routes. You'll keep shipments moving on schedule while staying compliant with DOT and FMCSA rules.

What you'll haul

• Freight moved on long-haul routes, regional and national

• You'll plan routes to meet delivery windows while staying efficient

What the job involves

• Safely running a tractor-trailer over long distances

• Completing pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections, and flagging any maintenance issues

• Securing loads so cargo isn't damaged in transit

• Logging hours, trips and fuel receipts through an ELD system

• Staying in touch with dispatch on load status, delays and route updates

• Treating customers professionally at pickup and delivery

• Keeping your truck clean and well cared for

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean driving history and a safety-first mindset

• Able to pass DOT drug and alcohol testing

• Familiar with DOT rules and hours-of-service limits

• Tractor-trailer experience preferred; entry-level drivers with accredited training may be considered

• Good communication, time management and problem-solving abilities

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed

• At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience

Work environment

• Extended time on the road, away from home

• Schedule can include nights, weekends and holidays

• Work in all kinds of weather and road conditions

• Long periods seated, with occasional loading or unloading
