About this job
Our company, a refrigerated carrier, is hiring experienced over-the-road company drivers at its Terrell, TX terminal. You will run no-touch freight in late-model trucks, and you can bring a pet or a rider along.
Pay and home time
- Starting pay is $0.70/CPM for experienced drivers.
- New Home More program: starts at $0.63/CPM, with 2 weeks out and 2 days home.
- True OTR program: starts at $0.65 to $0.70/CPM depending on experience, with 3 weeks out and 3 days home.
- Expect about 2,800 miles per week on average.
- You can sell unused home time back for $100 a day, up to 7 days in a row.
What you'll haul
- Temperature-controlled loads, including frozen goods, fresh produce and cosmetics, in temperatures from -20°F to 90°F.
- All freight is no-touch.
Equipment
- Freightliner Cascadias with Detroit DD15 engines, all under 3 years old.
- Qualcomm units, e-logs, SmartDrive technology, Thermo King Tri-Pac APUs, 1,800-watt inverters and refrigerators.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum age of 22 when you apply.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving in the last 3 years.
- A safe driving record that meets the company's minimums.
