OTR CDL-A Dry Van Driver — $2,500-$3,500/Week

Our company needs a reliable CDL-A driver for a steady over-the-road dry van route, running out of the DFW, Texas home base. Expect to be out roughly 2 to 3 weeks at a stretch, though other schedules can be discussed for the right fit.

Pay

• $2,500.00 - $3,500.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight moved across the United States on OTR routes

Schedule

• Standard rotation is 2 to 3 weeks out at a time

• Open to discussing alternative schedule arrangements with the right driver

What you'll do

• Drive a tractor-trailer safely on long-haul routes

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Keep ELD/HOS logs accurate and up to date

• Stay in touch with dispatch on pickups, deliveries, delays and any load problems

• Take care of the equipment and freight while meeting DOT/FMCSA safety rules

• Follow pickup and delivery procedures set by shippers and receivers

• Communicate professionally and keep deliveries on time

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• OTR driving experience

• Dry van experience is a plus

• Clean enough MVR/driving history to meet company standards

• Must satisfy FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug test

• Reliable communicator with a strong safety mindset and care for equipment

• Willing to stay out on the road for about 2 to 3 weeks per trip
