About this job
Join this team hauling dry van freight over the road in a company-supplied Freightliner Cascadia. Loads are power-only, no-touch, and typically light, clean commodities.
Pay
- Earn up to $0.80 per mile (CPM)
- Paid for both loaded and empty miles
- Compensation is structured as 1099 contractor pay
- Bonus opportunities for referrals and safe driving
Equipment
- You'll be assigned a Freightliner Cascadia Evolution 126, model years 2023-2027, depending on availability
- Trucks are kept in line with DOT standards
- Assignments go out first-come, first-served as trucks become available
What you'll haul
- Dry van, power-only loads
- No-touch freight
- Mostly light, clean commodities
- Over-the-road routes
Requirements
- Valid CDL
- Safe, clean driving history
- Must meet DOT and FMCSA standards
- Prior commercial driving experience is a plus
- Professional communication skills and solid work ethic
On the job, you'll be expected to run your route safely, hit delivery schedules, handle pre- and post-trip inspections, keep accurate logs, follow DOT and company safety rules, and stay in touch with dispatch and customers.
