OTR CDL-A Driver — $1,400 to $1,800/Week Average

Our company is an owner-run OTR fleet based in Kansas City, MO, with about 50 trucks. Owen Shrock built the company himself and is still personally involved in hiring.

Pay

• Average weekly pay ranges from $1,400.00 to $1,800.00

• Top earners bring home $1,800 a week

• Monthly bonuses tied to mileage

• Paid detention after the first two hours

Schedule and routes

• Typical rotation is two weeks on the road followed by two days at home

• Runs span coast to coast

• Drivers log between 2,800 and 3,500 miles most weeks

• Both solo and team positions are open

• Longer hauls come with the mileage bonus; shorter runs are available if you want part-time hours

What you'll haul

• All freight is no-touch

• Frequent drop-and-hook loads

• Reefer trailers carrying roughly 40% produce and 60% dry freight

Equipment

• Fleet trucks are 2025 to 2027 models, including 2026 Peterbilts

• Trucks are speed-limited to 75 MPH

• Equipped with refrigerators and APU units

• Pike Pass, E-Z Pass, and Pre-Pass are provided

Requirements

• Class A CDL

• At least 2 years of OTR tractor-trailer experience
