OTR Box Truck Driver — Percentage Pay

Our company needs a reliable, experienced over-the-road box truck driver to haul freight on long-distance routes. Pay is performance-based rather than a fixed wage.

Pay

• You keep 25% of the net load profit, calculated after a 3% factoring fee comes out of the gross payment

• What you take home depends on how many loads you complete

• Based on recent runs, drivers have brought in between $1,500.00 and $2,500.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Box truck freight, operating on extended over-the-road routes away from home for stretches at a time

Requirements

• Prior experience driving OTR is a must

• A current, valid driver's license

• A clean, recent Motor Vehicle Record you can provide

• A valid DOT medical card

• A solid driving history with no major red flags

• You're punctual, professional, and someone dispatch can count on

• Comfortable being on the road for long periods

• Good communication skills to stay connected with dispatch throughout your route

• Able to work independently while handling your responsibilities safely

What you'll do

• Drive and maintain your assigned truck safely

• Get pickups and deliveries done on schedule

• Stay in touch with dispatch about load status, routing, and delivery timing

• Represent the company professionally with customers and brokers

• Stick to DOT rules and transportation safety standards

• Keep your truck clean and flag any mechanical problems right away
