D-Class 5 Ton Truck Driver — Scheduled Espanola to Sudbury Route

This is a full-time 5 ton truck driving job running a set route between Espanola and Sudbury, Ontario, and back. You'll need a D class license and a year of commercial driving under your belt.

Pay

• $55,000.00-$62,500.00 per year

Route and schedule

• Scheduled run from Espanola to Sudbury and back

• One shift option: 7 hours, nights, Sundays

• Another shift option: 9 hours, nights, Monday through Thursday

What you'll haul

• General freight in a 5 ton straight truck

Requirements

• D class license with at least 1 year of commercial driving experience and a clean driver's abstract

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Must supply steel-toed safety boots and a safety vest, and pass bondability/security screening

• Comfortable completing pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection reports

• Able to perform basic maintenance like checking and topping off fluids, and keep the vehicle clean

• Good communication skills for working with customers and teammates; prior customer service experience is a plus
