About this job
Our company is looking for an experienced CDL-A driver in Charlotte, NC for a 1099 regional/OTR position hauling consistent freight for a major carrier. You'll run 2,600–3,000+ miles weekly and get home every 1–2 weeks depending on your location.
Pay
- Weekly pay ranging from $1,875.00 to $2,300.00
Home time
- Home every 1 to 2 weeks, depending on where you live
What you'll haul
- Steady freight provided through a major carrier partnership, with well-maintained equipment
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 months of verifiable over-the-road experience
- Must meet the qualification standards of the major carrier
- Driving record free of major violations
- Able to pass a DOT physical exam and drug test
- Minimum age requirement of 21 or 23
- Dependable, professional, and safety-focused
Responsibilities
- Haul freight safely and on time across your route
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with FMCSA hours-of-service rules
- Stay in contact with dispatch regarding load updates or problems
- Keep your truck clean and flag maintenance issues early
