OTR Box Truck Driver — $1,175–$1,500/Week

Our company is looking for an OTR box truck driver to run expedited freight in a 26ft box truck. You'll be out on the road for stretches of about 14 days, with up to a week home between runs.

Pay

• $1,175 to $1,500 per week

Home time

• Expect roughly 14 days out at a time, followed by up to a week at home

What you'll haul

• Finished goods and raw materials, moved over the road in a 26ft box truck

What you'll do

• Plan your routes and hit delivery windows

• Check your truck before and after trips for mechanical or safety problems, and keep up with routine maintenance

• Keep accurate logs of driving time, rest periods and mileage

• Follow all trucking regulations and company procedures

• Back the truck in and out of loading docks and delivery spots

• Get delivery paperwork and confirm instructions before dropping off loads

Requirements

• Solid track record driving trucks professionally

• Prior OTR driving experience

• Comfortable with long hours behind the wheel and frequent travel

• Strong working knowledge of trucking laws and regulations

• Able to think ahead and adjust to things like bad weather or traffic
