OTR Box Truck Driver — $1,100–$1,300/Week

Run OTR routes in a 26ft box truck, hauling finished goods and raw materials across the country. Expect to be out around 13 days at a stretch, with up to a week home between runs.

• $1,100.00 - $1,300.00 per week

Home time

• OTR schedule: about 13 days on the road, followed by up to 1 week at home

What you'll haul

• Finished goods and raw materials, moved long-distance in a 26ft box truck

What the job involves

• Planning routes and hitting delivery windows

• Checking your truck for mechanical or safety problems and keeping up with preventative maintenance

• Logging your driving time, rest periods and mileage

• Backing and positioning the truck for loading and unloading

• Getting and confirming delivery details

• Following all truck driving laws and company rules

Requirements

• Verifiable experience as a truck driver, including prior OTR work

• Comfortable with long hours behind the wheel and frequent travel

• Solid knowledge of truck driving regulations

• Able to adjust on the fly to things like traffic or bad weather
