OTR Box Truck Driver — $1,000–$3,000/Week

Our company in Atlanta, GA is looking for a box truck driver to handle over-the-road freight runs. You will be responsible for safe driving, proper cargo handling, and keeping accurate trip records while staying out on the road for extended stretches.

Pay

• $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Freight such as automobile parts and other logistics cargo, moved over long-distance routes

• You will load and unload shipments yourself, using proper handling methods, including care with any hazardous materials

• Use GPS to plan routes and keep deliveries on schedule

Schedule

• Be ready to stay on the road for 2-3 weeks at a stretch

Requirements

• Clean driving record for the last 5 years

• Must pass a drug test

• Able to work a pallet jack and liftgate

• Comfortable learning new processes and following directions

• Good at managing your time

• Some familiarity with ELDs

• Valid medical card

• Able to read and write English

• Experience driving commercial trucks on routes and deliveries

• Know how to load, unload and handle freight properly

• Physically able to manage loading tasks and long hours behind the wheel

Duties

• Follow all FMCSA and DOT rules while operating the box truck

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Keep delivery paperwork, logs and reports accurate and current

• Stay in contact with dispatch about schedules, route updates or any issues during the trip
