About this job
Our company needs an OTR driver for a 26-foot box truck, running 2–3 week stretches on the road followed by a week home. During your week off, Amazon Relay loads may be available if you want extra work and stay home each night while doing them.
Pay
- $1,200 per week
Home time
- Out 2–3 weeks at a time, then one week off
- Optional Amazon Relay runs during your week off, home daily if you take them
What you'll haul
- 26-foot box truck freight, with possible Amazon Relay loads mixed in
Requirements
- At least 1 year of verifiable experience driving a 26-foot box truck
- Must qualify for Amazon Relay approval and pass its background check
- Valid driver's license and a current DOT physical card
- Current MVR on file at hire for insurance purposes
- No SAP drivers, and no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last 5 years
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds when a customer requires it
- Reliable, punctual, and communicative with dispatch
Equipment & policy
- Company dash cameras, including the inward-facing driver camera, must stay powered on, connected, and unobstructed at all times
- Do not tamper with, disable, or cover company-installed equipment
- Return equipment in the condition it was issued
