OTR 26ft Box Truck Driver — $1,000–$1,300/Week

Our company is looking for an OTR box truck driver to run a 26ft truck on routes across the country, handling deliveries from pickup to drop-off with care and professionalism.

What you'll do

• Drive a 26ft box truck safely, following DOT rules and all traffic laws

• Load and unload freight by hand and with equipment like pallet jacks, using proper lifting techniques

• Plan and manage your routes, using a mobile device for directions and staying in touch about delivery timing

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Secure cargo properly and keep weight distributed correctly

• Deal directly with customers at delivery points, representing the company well

• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, pickups, deliveries and vehicle maintenance as DOT requires

Requirements

• Background in delivery driving, courier work or warehouse handling, including heavy lifting

• Solid understanding of commercial driving, trip planning and traffic rules

• Comfortable driving a manual transmission and using material handling tools like pallet jacks

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Able to lift heavy items safely per workplace guidelines

• Some familiarity with moving goods around a warehouse

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving history; prior delivery or courier experience is a plus
